What can people expect at the Enfield is Disabled Exhibition?
Enfield is Disabled is an art gallery exhibition produced by DYSPLA and made in collaboration with 11 local disabled residents, ranging from 10–60 years old. Audiences are invited to experience analog and innovative digital art, side by side, in a maximalist installation of digital sculptures and recorded poetry. The exhibition has multiple access points incorporating; Audio, Text, Video, Digital Portraiture and Billboard Print images made using a Structured-Light 3D Scanner. Even the act of witnessing the exhibition promises to be interactive.
How has the exhibition come about?
DYSPLA has a rich history of working with people who experience limited access to the arts, either as consumers or creators. Through our tailored workshops and one2ones, we support and facilitate people of all ages and backgrounds to tap into their creativity and invite them to collaborate with DYSPLA to make original work for the exhibition about their lived experience as people living in Enfield with disabilities.
