Join us at Forty Hall for an enchanting evening with Rihab Azar, a gifted oud player, and Ruth Padel, an acclaimed poet.
The oud, an ancient instrument dating back to Sumer and the time of the first known poet, Enheduanna, produces beautiful music. Rihab, whose father crafted her first oud when she was seven, will showcase her exceptional talent.
Ruth Padel, renowned English poet, will also share her work, including insights from her collection “Learning to Make an Oud in Nazareth,” which beautifully details the crafting of this historic instrument.
