Granny Squares workshop

Saturday 23 March 12.30pm - 2.30pm

Stitch! Crafts & Classes, 2 Hazelwood Lane N13 5EX

Want to make gorgeous granny squares that would make your grannies jealous!

The perfect follow on workshops for beginner crocheters. Come join us at Stitch with Kay Dudman and learn to create these colourful squares. You can later join them to make blankets, throws, scarfs and even jumpers.

We will focus on how you can use colour and texture to create unique and beautiful designs with a simple Granny Square. The workshop will also focus on forming a square, switching colours, joining techniques and making tassels.

If you have completed beginners crochet with us or have basic crochet skills, like to have fun experimenting with design and colour and potentially new yarns, this is for YOU!

This is a class for people with basic crochet skills already.

We will provide yarns but please do bring your crochet hook (size 4 or 5) and any yarns you want to experiment and have fun with!

Duration: 2 hours

Date: Saturday 23rd March, 12.30-2.30pm

Cost: £45.00

While we admire and support the Christmas campaigns that we see pop up in December, we also know that help is urgently needed all year round, each and every year. As some people pack away after the festive break, we are still here.

Our support is not limited to a food package, but it leaps beyond - we form connections, we listen and respond to everyone who steps through our doors. We open up a warm, safe, environment which aims to feel like a home away from home.

For us to continue to thrive and grow, and keep supporting as many people as possible, we are asking you to become a Friend of Cooking Champions. Even a donation of just £5-10 per month can make a HUGE impact on the lives of those who come through our doors.

Pop to our People's Fundraising page to donate, and we promise to keep you updated with how your support is making a difference. Thank you, we appreciate you! Team Cooking Champions
