North London Organic Gardeners are the local branch of Garden Organic, the national charity for organic growing. We are a group of people who believe in gardening without the use of chemical fertilisers and poisonous sprays. We make compost and believe that by looking after the soil and feeding it we can grow strong, healthy plants which are more resistant to pests and diseases.
We invite you to join us for our monthly meetings - the first Wednesday of the month (apart from July, August and January), held in the hall at the back of Holy Trinity Church, Green Lanes, Winchmore Hill N21 3RS at 8pm.
Members are enthusiastic gardeners, allotment holders or park and community growing volunteers. We have a membership, but you are warmly welcome to come and see if our talks are of interest to you before joining.
We support innovation in organic growing and our speakers reflect this.
