Here's a date that keen gardeners won't want to miss - raising money for a wonderful local charity, the Nightingale Cancer Support Centre. And it's just a short train ride away from PG.

Thursday 24 March 11.00am - 12.00pm

An Evening with Christine Walkden - in aid of Nightingale Cancer Support

Cuffley Hall, Maynard Pl, Cuffley, Potters Bar, EN6 4JA

  • Are you making the most of your garden?
  • Is there anything you would like advice on?

Then come along to An Audience with Christine Walkden. Television presenter and gardener Christine will entertain you with her extensive knowledge of gardening and answer all of your burning gardening questions.

If you’re unfamiliar with Christine Walkden, she is best known for her appearances on gardening programmes and The One Show as well as hosting her own series, Christine’s Garden on the BBC. She has previously looked after the growing side of the seed physiology unit at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, before becoming a freelance horticulturist, lecturing nationally and internationally and winning Garden Writers’ Guild Radio Broadcasting Award.

If there’s a Nightingale event not to miss, it’s this one. Tickets are strictly limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

Tickets are just £15 and include tea/coffee on arrival.
