Good – nice community of people, good access to food shops, restaurants, pubs and banks, good transport links
Question 2. What do you think is less good about the area?
Less good – some empty shops
Question 3. What would you like to see to improve the area?
Improve – lower rent and rates for shops owned by independents. Too many charity shops.

Fine

Does not support ½ hr free parking.
Very frequent bus services
It would encourage more use of town centre because it’s difficult to get to from Barnet, Cockfosters

Clutter – a bit in the triangle
Question 4e. Specific aspacts – type and range of shopsType of shops – palmers green has a lot of charity shops. And betting shops. People don’t travel to a town centre to shop in these places. MORE INDEPENDENT SHOPS. Some beautiful empty shops make an area look run down. Old buildings such as the fox pub and buildings along that side of the road.
Question 4g. Specific aspects – the Triangle public spaceTriangle / clock – lovely Christmas tree there, could make much better use of the electronic noticeboard. Make it a centralised community space.
