2017 photocompetition entry 118 by caroline stone 700pxBroomfield Park by Caroline Stone - an entry in the 2017 Friends of Broomfield Park photo competition

Nominations are in for Fields in Trust's annual UK's Best Park competition, and Broomfield Park is among those that have been nominated.

If you live in PG it's kind of obligatory to vote for Broomfield - after all, there are the ponds, the great views over London, the Conservatory, the Greenery cafe, the Community Orchard, the wildlife pond and the new wetlands, and some wonderful events - last weekend's highly successful Park Life Arts Weekend, the August blues concerts, the open air cinema screenings, and above all the Palmers Green Festival.  But there are several other parks in North London among those nominated, all of them worth considering, and if you haven't visited them all before, I would recommend doing so before you vote.

Get your vote in before noon on Monday 19th August.
