youth service justice volunteers have many faces could you be one of them 1

Enfield Youth Justice Service (YJS) needs volunteers who:

  • are concerned about youth crime and serious youth violence
  • are able to engage with children and young people
  • would like to be part of the restorative justice process
  • can work with children and young people who offend to help support a change in their behaviours and actions
  • can help us to help our children and young people to make Enfield a better place to live and work
  • are able to commit to volunteering for 12 months or more

We need volunteers who can...

  • Help our children to make Enfield a better place to live and work
  • Support children to achieve their full potential
  • Help communication between those harmed by crime and those responsible for the harm

Requirements

  • Must reside or work in the London Borough of Enfield (18+)
  • Support the work of the YJS by committing to minimum 6 hours per month
  • Can work afternoons and evenings
  • Undertake an enhanced DBS check

What we give you

  • Full training and support to facilitate Referral Order Panels and community service activities
  • Ability to engage with children and their parents/carers to support change
  • Reasonable expenses paid
