- TURN THE TRIANGLE INTO A ROUNDABOUT WITH PEDESTRIAN ACCESS TO THE ISLAND (LIKE SOUTHGATE CIRCUS).
- REMOVE PEDESTRIAN LIGHTS AND REPLACE WITH MORE ZEBRA CROSSINGS.

BY PUTTING SIGNS AT GREEN LANES / NORTH CIRC AND HEDGE LANE / GREEN LANES JUNCTIONS HIGHLIGHTING NON-HIGH STREET ROUTE VIA HEDGE LANE AND NORTH CIRC. THIS SHOULD BE CARROT (ALTERNATIVE ROUTE SIGNAGE) AND STICK (MORE TRAFFIC SLOWING MEASURES).
- DO NOT REOPEN BROOMFIELD AVE TO THRU TRAFFIC.

PUT BUS STOPS ONLY AT THE END OF THE SHOPPING AREAS SO PEOPLE ARE FORCED TO WALK ALONG THE HIGH STREET AND HOPEFULLY VISIT MORE SHOPS.
REDUCE ON-STREET PARKING (WITH LOTS OF SIGNS TO THE CARPARK BEHIND THE TRIANGLE) AND
WIDEN THE PAVEMENTS AND ALLOW CAFES TO OFFER PAVEMENT SEATING.
DO NOT HAVE GRASS AS IT WILL BE TRODDEN TO NOTHING.
