Question 1.  What do think is good about the area?

There is a real sense of community around this area which I think is supported / generated by the business association with fun day and Easter eggs – more would be good

Question 2.  What do you think is less good about the area?

Less good – walking up and down the high street has become a bit of an assault course – dodging randomly placed bits of steet furniture

Question 3. What would you like to see to improve the area?

Improve  -I would like to see something / anything done about the public toilets at the triangle

More seats / benches closer to the banks

Question 4a. Specific aspects – traffic

Traffic – its great to be able to cross almost immediately at coffee culture. A crossing island  midway to Di Neros and MultiYork would slow traffic and allow people to cross safely

Question 4b. Specific aspects – parking

Parking- short stay parking (20-30 mins) should be free. Parking at both sides of the road at hazelwood lane is very dangerous at the corner by anthony webb and coffee culture

Question 4c. Specific aspects – clutter

Clutter – too much and badly positioned. Some of the street signs could be put on lamp posts. All items lined up at road side or building side – not in the middle. Allow free flow of pedestrians

Question 4d. Specific aspects – look of the shops/architecture

Look of shops – generally good . I like the architecture above the shops and most shop fronts are well designed.

Question 4e. Specific aspacts – type and range of shops

Type of shops – too many coffee shops and far too many bookies

Question 4f. Specific aspects – amount and use of pavement space

Pavements – keep pavements as uncluttered as possible as the high street is pretty busy

Question 4g. Specific aspects – the Triangle public space

Triangle –do something about the toilet area. And replace the real tree

Question 4h. Specific aspects – Greenery

Greenery – hanging baskets on street lamps

Any other comments  Other – encourage small independent local businesses rather than chains
