Good – good selection of shops and cafes. Excellent park. Very good transportings

Less good – dingy shop fronts
Not enough litter bins
No public toilets

Improve – brighter shops – benches -more planting. Good signage
Question 4a. Specific aspects – trafficTraffic - from a personal point of view I do not see the present volume of traffic as problematic

Parking – inadequate and expensive

Clutter – railings though attractive take away pavement space in places

Look of shops – parts of green lanes looking very tired. Original structures should be preserved – gives a village “feel”

Type of shops – more specialist shops – could mirror Winchmore hill shops

Pavement – far too narrow in the triangle / Aldermans hill area

Triangle - underused – could be a great local focal point

Greenery -more small trees. Very happy with the summer hanging baskets which always look lovely and are well watered.
Any other comments
Other –palmers green is a very good place to shop but it needs to retain its village feel. Empty shops do not help – maybe landlords could be encouraged to reduce rents in these austere times
