Question 1. What do think is good about the area?
Good – good selection of shops. Most shopkeepers polite and helpful. Waitrose is a plus. Public transport pretty good.
Question 2. What do you think is less good about the area?
Less good – main No 1, cyclists riding on pavements of all ages at speed without any thoughts or consideration for others.

Question 3. What would you like to see to improve the area?
Improve - more people on streets given fines for above mentioned items and anti-social behaviour. More dogs on leads and under control.
Also green lanes at end of fox lane to be patrolled by council officers occasionally re previously mentioned items. Something to be done re bags left in front of charity shops and the people who steal from them leaving a mess.
Question 4a. Specific aspects – traffic
Traffic – a lot of people who use fox lane treat it like a race track. Personal yi would like to see cameras or traffic humps.
Bottom of fox lane from green lanes to Caversham avenue excessive speed by all traffic. I’m surprised the sign that lights up at 30mph is not worn out.

Parking – availability very difficult

Clutter – green lanes at times does seem to be very cluttered
Question 4d. Specific aspects – look of the shops/architecture
Look of shops – not bad considering. Something to be done to empty shops, ie general tidying up and cleaning of windows.
Question 4e. Specific aspacts – type and range of shops
Type of shops – I think that is the million dollar question
Question 4g. Specific aspects – the Triangle public space
Triangle -I would like to see a public convenience there again. As far as I’m aware there isn’t one in the palmers green area. This probably accounts for the bridge in fox lane being used as it is.
Any other comments
Other – by and large I think it is a reasonably pleasant place to live. Fairly good transport links. But if anywhere gets into a very run down state!
