Palmers Green Library is inviting local artists, artisans and craftspeople to exhibit and sell their work at an art fair on Saturday 26th October.
The deadline for applying to take part is Sunday 29th September. The Library has provided the following information:
The Art Fair will take place at 26th October 2024, 1pm to 4:30pm at Palmers Green Library. We are now accepting applications for vendors. The deadline for applications will be Sunday 29th September. As there are limited spaces available, we will review the applications, and announce the successful candidates Friday 4th October. Priority will be given to Enfield artists and businesses. Please note that AI art will not be accepted. We encourage artists of all levels and mediums to apply, be they amateur or professional. If you are unsure whether or not to apply, just apply! We want to cast as wide and diverse a net as possible.
We ask a £15 table fee from our vendors. This can be paid after your application is accepted. Vendors are welcome to keep any profits from the event for themselves. In order to encourage young upcoming artists, vendors who are full-time students may participate for free, and instead pay 50% of their sales from the event to the Library, up to £15. That is, if you have £10 in sales, you pay £5 to the Library, and keep £5. If you have £30 in sales, you pay £15 to the Library and keep £15. If you have £50 in sales, you pay £15 to the Library and keep £35, and so on.
