Volunteers are required for an online NHS research project into balance anxiety and dizziness - the research sample needs to include both people who experience problems in these regards and those who don't.
Dr Toby Ellmers, a researcher at Brunel University in Uxbridge, is currently conducting an online research project to explore how psychological factors such as anxiety influence balance and symptoms of dizziness. These results will inform new NHS strategies to reduce the risk of falls and manage dizziness. Participating in this online research will take approximately 10-15 minutes, and will involve answering questions regarding health, balance, and anxiety. All information provided will remain completely confidential. Participation is open to anyone aged 30+. He is interested in hearing from a range of people - participation is not only restricted to those anxious about their balance or who have experienced dizziness.
