A glimpse into how people one station down the line from PG are reducing waste and living life with less plastic (or in the case of one couple, no plastic).

The market on Myddleton Road is held on the first Sunday of the month, but Paul the Vegman isn't always there, and nor is the Refill stall (I understand that Refill will be there in October, but not September). Paul the Vegman delivers to Palmers Green on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The film is one of a series created by the Bowes Park/Bounds Green-based group Waste Not and was funded by the North London Waste Authority - a much more positive use for the waste authority's money than building a new incinerator that will emit huge quantities of greenhouse gases. NLWA's claim that delaying building the incinerator "would severely undermine our efforts to tackle the climate emergency" would be laughable if the threat that it poses weren't so serious.
