Detectives investigating an assault in Arnos Grove, Enfield, which has left a man in a critical condition are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Police were called to Bowes Road, N11 at 13:30hrs on Friday, 26 June to a report of an assault.
The victim, a 33-year-old man was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service where he remains in a life-threatening condition.
A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH has been bailed to return to a North London police station later this month.
Detective Constable Carolina Luby from North Area CID is leading the enquiry and has appealed for witnesses. She said: “This victim remains in hospital in a critical condition fighting for his life. Tomorrow is the one week anniversary of the assault and it is absolutely vital that any witnesses that saw the altercation come forward to my investigation team as a priority.
"There are a number of flats which overlook the location of the assault and I am convinced that people will be aware as to what has occurred. Additionally if you are in possession of any CCTV or dashcam footage I urge you to please pass this on to me.”
