Art Is ... unique, inspiring and transformative
Open daily until the end of the month at the Southgate Art Gallery (inside the Southgate Club in Chase Side) is an exhibition of art created at the Friends of Broomfield Park's art club by neurodivergent residents of Bourne Hill Care and Queen Anne Home.

They are able to self-reflect and deal with their emotions through images and colours. The art pieces that have emerged are from their heart and pure, unique to their own way of thinking.

Sign this petition for better safety measures on the A10
Since this time last week a further 40 people have signed the petition asking for more measures to reduce dangerous driving on the A10 through Edmonton and more generally on roads throughout the country. James Cracknell, editor of Enfield Dispatch, has been in touch with Transport for London's head of policing and community safety, who told him that TfL would be meeting local representatives from the council in the coming weeks to discuss local people’s concerns about road danger here.
Another voice calling for action on A10 speeding (as well as modified car exhausts and car meets) is Councillor James Hockney, who has launched a Charter for Action addressed to the Mayor of London and Enfield Council. In a tweet last week he called on the borough's three MPs to support his campaign.
