Cockfosters to Carshalton via Palmers Green: The North to South London walking trail launches next month

On Saturday 4th May a group of walkers will pass through Broomfield Park, inaugurating the first leg of a new North to South London Walking Trail that stretches from Cockfosters to Carshalton Beeches.

The Make Space for Girls workshops in Broomfield Park got off to a good start on Wednesday, but it was apparent that 4pm is too early to give all participants a chance to get there. As of next Wednesday they will start at 5pm.

Bowes Primary school street to come into force at end of April

As of Monday 29th April a school street will be in operation during school arrival and departure times in the section of Highworth Road adjacent to Bowes Primary School. School streets are designed to improve the safety of children and parents when arriving and leaving school by banning cars from a zone near the school during these times.

Increased cycle storage charge points the way to how Enfield Council could solve its financial problems - Forum post
