Enfield Dispatch, the borough's chief source of genuinely independent local news, is setting up a stabilisation fund in order to put its finances on a more sustainable basis, and is looking for patrons to contribute ÂŁ500 or more.
Easter Monday afternoon was a scene of celebration at the Little Green Dragon micropub in Winchmore Hill. On the pavement outside Etcetera Morris danced, while inside the packed bar customers were entertained by musical duo/trio That Blue Patch. But the highlight of the afternoon was the presentation of a Pub of the Year award by the local branch of the Campaign for Real Ale.
