all people all places no child should lose their home

75,000 children in London are homeless

Just because you don’t see children sleeping rough, it doesn’t mean they’re not homeless.

Children across London are living in unsafe and unsuitable temporary accommodation. Forced to move schools and leave their friends behind. All while dealing with the emotional trauma of losing the place they called home.

All People All Places are working to prevent homelessness from happening on your doorstep in Enfield and Haringey. You can help us support children, families and people of all ages, who face losing their homes right now.

Please donate today.

Your donation will be matched by the Aviva Community Fund, doubling your support.

How your donation will change lives

We’re here for people when the worst happens. But a key part of our work is preventing homelessness before it’s too late. Your donation will help us:

  • Inform people of their housing rights and advocate to help them access their entitlements
  • Work with people and liaise with their landlords to avoid eviction
  • Help people gather essential documents to prove they are homeless to the council
  • Identify affordable private rental properties for families and individuals
  • Make sure people can access all of their financial entitlements, so they can afford to pay for housing and meet their essential needs
  • Support people with accessing rent deposit schemes
  • Challenge local authority decisions not to provide housing support
  • Ensure local authorities are meeting their statutory duty to assess and prevent homelessness

All People All Places

all people all places white on black 2

All People All Places (APAP) is a small, locally focused homelessness charity working in the London Boroughs of Enfield and Haringey. Established in 2010 as a winter night shelter responding directly to rough sleeping locally, since then our services have grown and developed, and we are now an integral part of of the local homelessness response and prevention provision. We currently run two main services, the Enfield Day Centre and a small night shelter provision focused on supporting rough sleepers in Enfield.

Vision and mission

APAP believes that nobody should have to face the devastation of street homelessness. Homelessness is always rooted in issues of poverty and disadvantage. Overcoming these complex personal and social challenges requires a whole person approach, which seeks to tackle the multiple and underlying issues that have led to housing crisis or rough sleeping. Homelessness is just the symptom.

APAP’s mission is to break cycles of poverty and disadvantage and to tackle issues of homelessness as they present in Haringey and Enfield by:

  • Providing respite to those rough sleeping
  • Supporting individuals through and beyond housing crisis
  • Preventing people from experiencing the nightmare impact of rough sleeping

APAP Day Centre

APAP Day Centre at Pymmes Park Visitor Centre

APAP’s day centre offers housing advice, support and advocacy for rough sleepers and those at risk of homelessness in Enfield and Haringey. The service is open to anyone on a drop in or referral basis.

The centre currently operates Tuesday to Thursday and offers a warm, welcoming and friendly space for those seeking support with housing related issues or experiencing homelessness. A simple breakfast is available to those who are rough sleeping or in need, as well as hot drinks and refreshments. From January 2023, we are also providing a hot lunch on Wednesday’s for our clients and hope to expand this offer.

We undertake a detailed individual assessment and help our visitors address wider needs through referral and signposting to relevant partner agencies.

Our experienced caseworkers assist with issues related to housing, benefits, health, immigration, debt advice and advocate on behalf of clients with external agencies. We provide ongoing casework support to all visitors.

The visitor centre is in Pymmes Park. The easiest way to find us is from the Victoria Road entrance to Pymmes Park, near Silver Street train station.

Opening: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8am - 2pm (casework ends at 1pm)
